Report evaluated companies based on capabilities such as security, cloud, data analytics and digital government services

BLUE BELL, Pa., September 9, 2016 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced it has been named a "Leader" in an IDC MarketScape report evaluating systems integrators serving the U.S. federal government.

The report, "IDC MarketScape: U.S. Systems Integrators Serving the Federal Government 2016 Vendor Assessment," (doc #US41687116, August 2016) recognized Unisys Federal's "speed and agility in serving targeted clients," as well as its focus on helping federal clients achieve their missions on time and on budget.

The IDC MarketScape report specifically noted Unisys' investments in key areas like security and the cloud through offerings like Unisys Stealth®, micro-segmentation software that creates segments within an organization where only authorized users can access information. Stealth cryptographically confines access to a single segment of the network – which can include everything from public clouds to mobile devices – so unauthorized users cannot move laterally to other parts of the organization.

The IDC MarketScape also pointed to Unisys' strength related to DevOps and Agile software development methodologies, as well as the Unisys VantagePoint™ digital business aggregation platform providing a unified view of multi-sourced, personalized service information.
